The Family Man: Manoj Bajpayee Dismisses Rumors of Getting a whopping fees Comparable to Salman & SRK
Manoj Bajpayee has been making news for his Amazon Prime Show called The Family Man. And this time, it’s his fees, which have been making news in the media. However, he seemed to claim a different story related to the fees he got for the show. He said he did not get that huge money unlike Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan for the show. He further went on saying that he is not a big star like the ones named above and thus will not get that whopping fee for it.
He was talking in an interview wherein he said he did not get that huge money for the show and that the makers would afford to give away whopping fees to the named stars. Now, talking about his character in the said show, he plays an undercover spy in it called Raj or DK, which has given two big seasons for the streaming audience. This time the show was also in news with the presence of the hot lady Samantha Ruth Prabhu along with others including Gul Panag, Sharad Kelkar and Priya Mani who are seen in different roles in the show. He even said in the interview that films like Bhosle and Gali Guleiyan which he did earlier did not fetch him huge money. Even the money he earned with The Family Man may not be able to fund his pension money.Â
He somewhere called himself as a man of cheap labour as he is not getting fees unlike Salman Khan or Shah Rukh Khan. He also said that the OTT platform does not give anyone regular work and that it is a seldom venture that gives limited fame and money. He compared it with the Chinese market, which gives you cheap. In a sense, we can see the actor in a dismay mood and the reason is somewhere the little fees he gets for the shows.
