Thank God Trailer Out: Chitragupta Ajay Devgan will show common man Siddharth Malhotra the right path
The much-anticipated Thank God trailer, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Ajay Devgn, is now here! The lead actress in the movie is Rakul Preet Singh. Indra Kumar wrote and directed the comedy movie, which was made by T-Series and Maruti International. The release date of Thank God is set for October 25, 2022, which also happens to be Diwali. It makes huge family entertainment claims. Ajay and Sidharth’s first-look posters generated a tonne of attention yesterday, and fans couldn’t contain their excitement to see their favourite actors dressed to kill.
The Shershaah actor shared the clip and wrote: “We are all prepared to begin the game of life this Diwali, jaha hoga sabke karmon ka hisaab! #ThankGod Trailer is now available. On October 25th, in theatres.” Sidharth portrays an ordinary man named Aayan Kapoor in the three-minute trailer; Ajay portrays the dapper Chitragupt; and Rakul plays Sidharth’s wife, Aaruhi Kapoor. It also has Nora Fatehi in a rare appearance for a song that is the official Hindi translation of well-known Sri Lankan artist Yohani’s song Manike Mage Hithe.
Thank God, a stunning Diwali release, is a lighthearted slice-of-life film with a moral. You’ll giggle while watching the movie, but it also has a heartfelt message at the end. Currently, this is Ajay and Rakul’s third collaborative effort. They have previously worked on De De Pyaar De and Runway 34. Thank goodness, Sidharth and Rakul had worked together on the movies Aiyaary and Marjaavaan before. For the first time, Sidharth, Rakul, and Ajay will collaborate on a project.
Ram Setu, starring Jacqueline Fernandez and directed by Akshay Kumar, will compete at the box office on October 24 with Thank God.
Thank God, will have a box office clash with Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu, which is set for a theatrical release on October 24, a day before Ajay Devgn’s film on the festival of Diwali. Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez also appear in the action-adventure film. Previously Ajay was seen doing a cameo role in SS Rajamouli’s period action drama RRR. The film also featured Alia Bhatt in a pivotal cameo. He was also seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, which was again headlined by Alia Bhatt.
Meanwhile, other than Thank God, Ajay Devgn will next be seen in the sequel to the popular crime drama Drishyam, which is set to be released later this year. He’ll appear opposite Tabu.
