Big B To offer Ration Kits for a month to One Lakh Daily Wage Workers
We often see Amitabh Bachchan giving a list of precautions to play safe while we are passing through the bad phase of this virus. Besides Big B, a number of other actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Rajnikanth, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Sonali Kulkarni, Chiranjeevi, Shiva Rajkumar, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and Mohanlal, are doing the same. As per the latest, the Badla actor has now come forward to announce help for one lakh daily wage workers.
As per reports, in this unprecedented situation, the actor has responded to the program called We Are One carried out by Sony Pictures Network India along with Kalyan Jewellers to help the daily wage workers. The actor has announced the monthly ration for 100K household workers all across the nation. With this, they would be distributing self verified barcoded coupons that can be redeemed to gain the monthly ration for their home. This can be availed by the verified workers from the All India Film Employees Confederation (AIFEC).
Further, the monetary support would be given to the other needy people as well. Earlier, the actor has been the part of a unique short film called Family as conceptualized and virtually directed by Prasoon Pandey with Big B as the lead actor in it. It asked everyone to stay at home and help people to stay safe by maintaining hygiene, and work from home to maintain the social distance. Stay tuned to know more about him and others only with us.
