The megastar is back in the news as he recently wrapped up for his next film Chehre, while he has already started his next venture called Gulabo Sitabo by the Piku fame director Shoojit Sirchar. The film has Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role, while the film has hit the floor in Lucknow and they have started the shoot with Amitabh Bachchan. This has brought both the Big B and Shoojit Sircar together on a silver screen after they made Piku with Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan.
Shoojit is the same man who made Vicky Donor with Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role giving him a big break in B Town. Talking about the new venture the director said that he has been working with Juhi on the script since past few months and years as Juhi has been working with some quirky stuff. He then said the moment he came across the subject, he shared to the makers and they instantly connected with it.
They soon planned to offer the film to Big B and Ayushmann Khurrana and once the script was ready they gave them to read and luckily it worked and they came on board. The director has already worked with both the actors and it was easy for him to approach the two. Once he met he gave the chance to work on another project. Talking about the film, he said that the film has a story that has the base in Lucknow, while it happens to be a fun colloquial metaphor. He then said the audience would be easily able to connect with the story as it happens to be quirky.
The film’s story has been jotted down by the award-winning scriptwriter Juhi Chaturvedi, while the movie is produced by Ronnie Lahiri along with Sheel Kumar.
