The loss of veteran Bengali actor Soumitra Chatterjee has led to the void in the industry and everyone felt when they heard about the news of the death of the seasoned actor. He was 85 as he left this world behind having hordes of fans, friends and family members. As the death of the actor came out, an official statement was seen getting released from the hospital where he was hospitalized for the ailment. The hospital declared the news sharp at 12.15 pm at Belle Vue Clinic where he was getting the treatment. The late actor was known for doing exceptional roles in various films including the one called Apu in Apur Sansar and Feluda in Sonar Kella along with Joy Baba Felunath. The film was directed by Satyajit Ray. His other films include Charulata, Devi, Ghare Baire, Ganashatru and Teen Kanya.
