The megastar Amitabh Bachchan and the veteran actor Dilip Kumar will be receiving Padma Vibhushan Award from Government of India, which is to be declared this 25th January 2015. As per sources, the two would be conferred with countries second largest Indian Award in entertainment sector for their contribution in Indian Cinema. Talking about Dilip Kumar alias Mohd Yusuf Khan, he has been active in the Indian film industry since 1940’s starting his career with the film called Jwar Bhata released in the year 1944, since then he has been relentless in the industry giving some of the best movies like Devdas, Mughal-e-Azam, Shakti, Karma, etc.
He has been conferred with prestigious awards from government of India including the Padma Bhushan award in the year 1991 followed by another called the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in the year 1994 for his contributions towards Indian Cinema apart from a couple other awards in his career. Similarly, Amitabh Bachchan too has been selected for this award for his contribution in Indian Cinema for said Padma Vibhushan award. Unlike Dilip Kumar, he too was honoured with national award thrice along with the prestigious awards like Padma Shri in the year 1984 and the Padma Bhushan award in the year 2001 for his contributions towards the arts.
