Bellbottom: Akshay Kumar Slashes down his fees on the makers’ request, Check his remuneration
We know Akshay Kumar to be among the highly paid actors in B Town. As per the portal – Bollywood Hungama, he was seen charging a whopping INR 117 Crores for his film Bell Bottom, which happens to be an action thriller. However, not many knew that he originally demanded 135 Crores for the action thriller. The actor has hiked his fees reaching to 135 Crores for his upcoming movies in 2022, however, for the filmmakers like Sajid Nadiadwala, it happens to be an exception.
Being his friend, he seemed to have given a good discount and as per BH, he only charged 99 Crore INR for their film Bachchan Pandey. Similarly, Vashu Bhagnani who is producing the film Bellbottom with Akshay Kumar has also requested Akshay Kumar to slash down by 30 Crores for the action thriller. Considering his plea, the Holiday actor has slashed down the fees by 30 crores. The film was supposed to hit this year in April, however, due to the Covid situation, one can see things getting delayed.
The film is made at a huge budget, hence the makers have requested the leading man of the film to slash down for the obvious reason and he has agreed to keep the budget in control. Also, the makers are not sure about the theatrical release of the film. Thus they may have to take the OTT route, hence gaining that much of profit may not be possible, which otherwise would be possible to get with the former option. Things are not clear as yet, hence it would be fair to see the makers to request for the slash down of the fees. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
