Amidst all the confusions of the new guidelines issued by the state government to shoot the films, the makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 have now announced that they intend to resume the shoot in September. Before the lockdown was announced in March, the lead actors – Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani were seen shooting for the film completing more than half of the movie. As per reports, around 35 days of the shoot seemed to be remaining for the movie.
The film happens to be a sequel of the 2007 film which is now being directed by Anees Bazmee. The prequel had Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in the leading roles apart from others like Paresh Rawal, Shiney Ahuja and Yadav. The film happens to be an official remake of Malayalam comedy movie Manichitrathazhu released in 1993. While the sequel has a complete new set of actors in it.
Apart from Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan, the sequel has Tabu as well, which was supposed to hit on 31st July. However, with the current pandemic still in progress, things have been delayed. The film happens to be a sequel and we have around 35 days of shoot remaining, which according to the makers is likely to resume in September of this year. The audience is dying hard to see the sequel releasing soon. So, if things go smoothly, the film’s shooting is likely to resume by September.
