Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: Kartik Aaryan gives the best answer when compared him with Akshay Kumar

On Tuesday, the teaser for the horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was finally unveiled, starring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu. It is a stand-alone sequel to Priyadarshan’s 2007 horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa, starring Akshay Kumar, Shiney Ahuja, and Vidya Balan. Now, at the trailer premiere event, the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor gave information about his film.

Kartik stated, “I can’t compare because it’s too big a shoe to fill. I had loved him (Akshay Kumar) in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 1, and have grown up watching him. It’s better not to compare, I love him as an actor. We have tried our best to do it our way. But this is a new film, with a lot of new elements. I hope people will love it in his own dynamic. Comparisons will happen, but I hope Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will be remembered as a new film.”

When a reporter asked Kiara Advani that you are considered to be the dream girl in the film industry, just like Hema Malini, how do you feel? Kiara said, “I am very happy for this and full credit goes to the fans, and I am very happy to have compared to Hema Malini ma’am.”

When asked how special the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 horror film is, he said, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa is special because it’s my first horror-comedy, so this time, I am also trying to scare people. I have treated the subject in a new way. The original was a psychological thriller with comedy, this one is a proper horror-comedy. The challenge is to remind people of the first part, yet provide a unique experience”.

Meanwhile, Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, Amar Upadhyay, Milind Gunaji, and Rajesh Kumar also play significant roles in the film. Anees Bazmee directed the film, which was produced by T-Series and Cine 1 Studios’ Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Anjum Khetani, and Krishan Kumar. The film is set to premiere on May 20, 2022.
