Bengaluru cops detained Siddhanth Kapoor in drug case, Shakti Kapoor reacts

Shakti Kapoor’s son, Siddhanth Kapoor, has been involved in a drug scandal. Police in Bengaluru raided a rave party where the actor was allegedly found using drugs. Responding to the case, Shakti Kapoor told ETimes , “I can only say one thing – it’s not possible.”

According to the reports, Siddhant had left Mumbai for Bengaluru on Sunday, and the incident occurred during a late-night party. The Kapoors were completely unaware of Siddhant’s whereabouts. The Bengaluru Police confirmed that Siddhant Kapoor was one of the six people who had allegedly consumed drugs. The cops have yet to confirm whether those involved had already consumed drugs before arriving at the party or if they had consumed the prohibited substances at the hotel. “Siddhanth Kapoor has tested positive for drugs. He has been brought to Ulsoor Police Station,” Dr Bheemashankar S. Guled, DCP, East division, Bengaluru City told ANI.

In 2020, the Narcotics Control Bureau summoned Shraddha Kapoor for questioning in connection with a drug case that arose during the investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The actress reportedly agreed to attend Sushant’s ‘Chhichhore’ success party at his Pawana guesthouse but denied all reports of drug use.

Siddhanth made his acting debut in Salman Khan’s Judwaa in 1997, playing the role of young Rangeela. He went on to work as an assistant director on films such as Bhool Bhulaiya and Chup Chup Ke. He returned to acting in 2013 with Shootout at Wadala and has since appeared in Ugly, Jazbaa, and Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship. He also appeared in Haseena Parkar alongside Shraddha Kapoor.

He was most recently seen in Chehre, alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi. He also appeared in the 2020 web series Bhaukaal.
