As Salman Khan is ready to release his film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai on OTT platform we also heard that Akshay Kumar is coming up to release his upcoming movie BellBotton on an OTT platform. With the hybrid model popular in Hollywood, we now see the similar trend gearing up in Bollywood also. As per the recent buzz, we see the makers of BB also trying for a hybrid release due to the ongoing second waves of Covid 19. The makers have planned to release the movie on 28th May 2021.

As per Koimoi, the rising cases have made Akshay Kumar and the filmmakers to consider this route thus they are in talks with the streaming giant – Disney Plus Hotstar to get a digital premiere. Earlier we have seen reports stating that Bell Bottom is also in talks with another OTT platform Amazon Prime to release their movie. However, as per reports, the producers including Jackky and Vishnu Bhagnani along with Nikhil Advani are in talks with the other options as they explore the value of the movie.

Thus we have two reports one claim that the movie is going to release on Hotstar, while other claim that it will be released on Amazon Prime. Aslo, there are reports that Amazon has given the makers the offer of 125 Crores, while the makers are expecting a bit higher as they have quoted for 150 Crores. This has made them approach Disney+ Hotstar and they are into their final discussion. Thus much depends upon who gives the higher call the movie will release there. The movie is going to get its release both in the theatres and OTT release. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
