This Friday we have two similar genre films releasing and one of these certainly include Behen Hogi Teri. The film has Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan in it and happens to be a controlled budget movie having a small town realistic appeal in it. The lead actor of the film has some good films to his credit, which include Trapped, Shahid, Citylights and Aligarh, however, in terms of collection his films have failed to impress the audience.
Though the film Behen Hogi Teri comes up with a mixed review, yet it has a brighter chance to get visibility at the box office. The promotions of the film has been limited to multiplexes crowd in the metro cities, which interestingly comes with a title that has an universal appeal and if word of mouth works for the film, one is likely to see it entering also into the single screens. Now talking about the collection of the film, BHT failed to garner low occupancy in the morning shows, however, with the passing hours, the film managed to get a decent occupancy at the end of the day.
As per reports, the first day box office collection for Behen Hogi Teri tolled to around 3.5 crores, which is still a decent figure for the makers. Now the litmus paper test for the film is the kind of word of mouth buzz the film is able to garner during these one or two days then only it will be able to get a good figure at the box office, otherwise the stiff competition from the big time release film called Raabta would remain a big damager for Behen Hogi Teri.
