One of the most hyped and anticipated Hollywood superhero flick called Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice seemed to have got a good start on Friday. The overwhelming response continued to the next day increasing also its moolah in the first Saturday of its first weekend, however, it seems to have dropped down the coming first Sunday. Thanks to the do and die T20 India Vs Australia match, which attracted the audience close to the TV sets to catch one of the best of the action of Virat and others over the stadium. This simply had kept the audience on toe, which made the film struggle at the end of the first weekend.
As per reports, the first weekend box office collection of the Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice tolled to around 25 crore, which is actually a decent collection. This amount also includes the paid previews coming on Thursday for the movie. The movie picked up the speed from the paid previews and has fared well over the Good Friday Weekend. With such a collection coming in the three day opening has made the film the seventh highest ever for the Hollywood film in India. Also, with the advent of this film, the other release from B Town – Rocky Handsome seemed getting hampered to some extent collecting only 15 crores.
