Taapsee Pannu as India cricket myth Mithali Raj looks advantageous and convincing as the 56-second teaser is likely to give goosebumps to every cricket fan in the country. The story spins around a luminous chapter in India’s women’s cricket and its current Test and ODI captain Mithali Raj. The film is directed by Srijit Mukherji and produced under the Viacom18 Studios’ banner.
The film is based on the life of veteran Mithali Raj, who continues to dominate world cricket and is now captaining the Women in Blue at the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022, which is currently underway. Taapsee Pannu has worked really hard to achieve her goal of being a professional cricketer at the highest level. The preview was released on social media by the Bollywood actor.
