#BanNetflixInIndia Trends in Twitter, Check Why?

Of late, there seem to be something different things that have been trending on the Microblogging site – Twitter. Earlier we reported, that the hashtag – Bollywood againsts Hindus seemed to be trending now #BanNetflixInIndia seems to be trending on Twitter. It seems that social media in India has been governed by the right wings. We now see yet another attack by the ruling party ally – Shiv Sena IT Cell, which has filed a police complaint against the digital platform called Netflix.

The man who complained is Ramesh Solanki who is the member of Shiv Sena IT Cell. He claimed that the global streaming platform is defaming Hindus all across the world. In his complaint, Solanki said that the web series including Sacred Games, acts of Comedian Hasan Minhaz and Leila, Ghoul on Netflix seems to have hurt the sentiments of Hindus, hence he demands to ban streaming giant. This has therefore led the trend on Twitter. People supporting the trend also vouch for the fact that Netflix is defaming Hindus and hence it should be banned.

 

Earlier we saw the BJP MLA Rajouri Garden too has slammed the web series – Sacred Games 2 makers for defaming the religion and the sentiments of Hindus. Referring to one of the sequences of Sartaj Singh was seen throwing away his Kada. He then alleged that Bollywood is also doing a deliberate attempt to hurt the Hindus and their sentiments. The people supporting the tend also suggested that since Netflix India should be banned for bringing out content against them and their religion. They have created Hindu Phobia in the media.
