The film revolves around the life of Bala played by Ayushmann Khurrana who is a young man and is a victim of premature balding. Bala is all about how he copes with the situation along with he takes up the relationship with two women, which are played by Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar is interesting to catch at the nearby cinema.
The film somewhere resemble Ujda Chaman released last Friday revolving around the same theme of premature hair loss among the young men. Unfortunately, the makers embarked with the film at the same time getting a victim of similar sort of theme and getting into different trouble that caused issues to the movie. However, when we compare the two films, Bala seems to have added some brownie points with having an ensemble star cast and having a story with a twist. Besides, handling the issue of premature hair loss, the makers were smart enough to add other elements as well that helped the film to prosper in the B Town.
Now, talking about the performances, Ayushmann Khurrana has done a decent job playing the role of Bala in it. He has portrayed the character the way the makers wanted him to put over the silver screen showcasing the right set of emotions and other things. The other two ladies too did a decent job. Bhumi in a dusky beauty role has excelled in her character, while Yami Gautam a local beauty crown owner also has played a good role in it. Talking about the other elements like direction, music, editing, story, screenplay and other things, these have gone better adding the entertainment value to the best.
Bala The Last Word
The film has an interesting side of the issue of premature balding to offer. It has managed to portray it well all thanks to the presence of good actors like Ayushmann Khurrana and thus becomes a worth watch to see yet another film made out of the box.
