Ekta Kapoor is gearing up for her upcoming historical TV serial called Bajirao Mastani, which would be a period love story based on the romance of PeshawaBajiRao and his second wife Mastani.
As we know Ekta Kapoor has been fascinated with such kinds of subjects, which has politics, religion and similar elements thus choosing such subjects, which is a blend of everything like love, politics and hate is no exception.
We know Bajirap to be a warrior who has waged his war against Mughal and when he defeated the army of Bangash and restored Chhatrasal throne, he was offered the king of this place his 16 year old daughter called Mastani. Though Mastani was a Muslim, it simply angered many people in his courtroom including his mother as well who he has planned to disclose things later. She is yet to decide upon the star cast of the TV serial, which she calls to be among her ambitious projects of 2016. The TV serial is likely to be aired at Sony TV.
