Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known for flaunting some of the best sets for his movies and Bajirao Mastani is no exception. In fact, in this period drama, he has gone one step further and made some of the best sets, which he says has got the inspiration from Mughal-E-Azam. One of the songs in this classic film of sixties had the sets inspired from Sheesh Mahal in Lahore, which got the huge number of applauds for K Asif for his magna opus. The makers didn’t felt like dismantling the same hence kept it for the public display, which got maximum number of visits in Bombay.
Similarly, in the film of Bhansali, you can find a track wherein Deepika is seen dancing, while Priyanka the second wife of Bajirao is seen in the chamber of women. This song comes out to be a tribute to K Asif’s film and the famous song Pyaar Kiya to Darna Kya. This song was inspired by Mughal-E-Azam, which was created in Aaina Mahal, similarly, Bhansali has same kind of song, which showcases the mad love of Bajirao for his wife Mastani. The sets are of similar stature, which will be made for public visit unlike the K Asif’s film. Bajirao Mastani is all set to release in Christmas.
