Bajirao Mastani 1st Week Box Office Report – Moving Slow and Steady
For films like Bajirao Mastani releasing last Friday the good days are back for the audience as they were able to catch a period drama, which was produced with loads of glitter and extravaganza. However, competing with Dilwale, the film managed to get a slow start, which soared with the addition of collection for the SRK film. The two big films of 2015 clashed the same day, which really hampered the collection of both the films despite the fact both remained gainers at the end of the day.
The magna opus of Bajirao Rao took a steady start getting less collection on Day 1, however, it soared with the coming Saturday, which helped the film to get a decent 1st weekend box office collection. As per reports, the first week box office collection tolled to around 86 crores. However, Dilwale has emerged as a big competitor for the film. Also, don’t forget that Bajirao Mastani has targeted the single screens, which was not the case with Dilwale as it has targeted the multiplexes giving a much better collection over the box office.
And since there is not any movie releasing this and the coming Friday, the market seems to be open for both the films to add up its collection in the coming second weekend and week as well. One can expect Bajirao Mastani to enter the 100 crore club in the next days. As per trade pundits, the Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are likely enjoy a better collection for obvious reasons.
