The film Badla is a revenge crime thriller movie based on a Spanish hit film called The Invisible Guest released in 2017. The film deals with a lady (Tapsee Pannu) who while living with a man who is her alleged boyfriend got killed as someone was blackmailing them. She is arrested and her case is taken up by a lawyer played by Big B. He is known to win every case, so, will he be able to rescue her from the murder charges, that’s the big question, we will get the answer while watching the film in your nearby theatre.

Sujoy Ghosh the Kahaani director is back again with another crime thriller. His expertise in making thriller movies has strengthened with time and seems to have reached its zenith with Badla. Thanks to the suspense element he has improvised in the film making it more gripping and interesting. In a sense, the film with strong story and content is an edge of the seat thriller which the audience would be waiting to catch on the silver screen. It is not everyone’s cup of tea to make suspense flicks like Ghosh. He has the knack to catch the real emotions and performance of ace actors like Big B and Tapsee Pannu to bring out the best for the audience.

The film turns meticulous with several elements apart from powerful filmmaking skills and rich content, and it is performance. The stellar performances of megastar Big B and Tapsee Pannu have made the film to escalate high in terms of entertainment value. Once again Mr. Bachchan has proved that he has the knack to play characters entering into its shoe perfectly and playing flawlessly on the silver screen. His dialogues, diction, accent, and performance all remain flawless making you wonder how a 78-year-old man can act with such incredible energy. Tapsee Pannu has been, as usual, the stunning and the powerful lady to act any character with passion and dexterity. The other elements like music, screenplay, technical stuff like editing and photography are simply awesome.

Badla –  The Last Word

It’s a worthy movie if you have the zest for genres like thrill and crime drama. And if you remain a fan of Sr. Bachchan or Tapsee Pannu, you cannot afford to miss this film this weekend. It can be a worthy choice for you and even your family.
