Badla 1st Day Box Office Collection

badla 1st day box office

This Friday we witnessed the film Badla that came solo at the silver screens. The film featuring Taapsee Pannu, and Big B and the director Sujoy Ghosh who is known to give some of the exciting films for the audience. The film went decent as far as the reviews and ratings are concerned; however, for being a crime thriller, it can only attract the audience of this taste. So, the collection went as expected at the box office despite seeing some stellar performances from the megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Tapsee Pannu.

As per reports, the film opened with a meagre occupancy of 10 to 20 per cent in the morning shows, and later went on increasing reaching even to 70 to 80 per cent in the multiplexes; however, the single screens at towns and smaller places remained affected with low occupancy. With this occupancy, the 1st-day box office collection for Badla went to around 3.75 Crores. The business experts and trade pundits feel that there would be an escalation in the coming first weekend of the film giving it a decent collection to around 18 to 20 crores.

As they feel that the film would garner a decent word of mouth buzz in the media, hence it likely to boost up the collection in the next two days. The other reason why the film did not do well on the first day was due to the Hollywood film Captain Marvel, and it did affect the collection of the film Badla as the craze to catch any foreign film is higher than B Town movie. The competition would remain on the first weekend but expecting some word of mouth buzz for the film, Badla is likely to lift in the first weekend.
