Bade Miyan Chote Miyan Box Office Day 1 Advance Booking (2 Days Away): Minimal Growth Raises Concerns for Akshay Kumar & Tiger Shroff’s Film

Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar are set to captivate audiences with their highly anticipated film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which is now scheduled to release on April 11, 2024. However, the action thriller will face tough competition from Maidaan at the box office. Unfortunately, the early signs are not very promising, as there has been minimal growth in terms of advance booking sales.

Initially, BMCM was slated for a Christmas 2023 release, but the date was later pushed to Eid 2024. Pre-booking sales were initially set for April 10, 2024, but the film was rescheduled to April 11 to maximize the potential of the Eid holiday across the nation. On the other hand, Maidaan is opting for a direct release, while holding paid previews on Wednesday.

Despite Eid being one of the most lucrative festivals for box office success, the pre-release buzz surrounding Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is surprisingly low. Even with the star power of Akshay Kumar, as well as the presence of Prithviraj and Tiger Shroff, there seems to be a lack of excitement surrounding the film.

As of the latest update, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has only managed to accumulate 44 lakhs (excluding blocked tickets) through advance booking on its first day. This shows minimal growth compared to the previous day’s numbers of 15 lakhs. Ideally, the pre-booking sales should have reached the 1 crore mark, but there is still a long way to go.

So far, approximately 17,000 tickets have been sold. The fate of the film now rests on whether Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s starrer will witness exponential growth in the next two days. Only then can we hope for a decent opening number.

Adding to the concerns is the staggering budget of 350 crores for BMCM. Given the current trend, the film may face significant losses at the box office. The industry will be watching closely to see how the film performs in the coming days.
