Bachpan Ka Pyaar fame Sahdev Dirdo seriously injured after Bike accident, Badshah says ‘Need your prayers’
Sahdev Dirdo, the singer of ‘Bachpan Ka Pyaar’ and an internet star, was hurt on Tuesday when the motorcycle he was riding pillion on skidded on the road in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district, according to police.
The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. in Sukma’s Shabri Nagar neighbourhood. When the tragedy happened, Sahdev Dirdo was riding his motorcycle to his village with his father. Dirdo collapsed and suffered a serious head injury while the rider only received minor injuries, according to Sukma Superintendent of Police Sunil Sharma.
According to sources, Dirdo was transported to the hospital and shifted to Jagdalpur Medical College hospital following basic treatment, Sharma added. Sukma Collector Vineet Nandanwar and Sharma visited the district hospital after learning of the accident and inquired about his condition.
Furthermore, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has directed Nandanwar to provide the finest medical assistance to Dirdo as soon as possible, according to an official statement obtained by News18.
Dirdo, a resident of the tribal-dominated and Naxal-affected Sukma area, rose to prominence with his song ‘Bachpan Ka Pyaar.’ Shortly after the video went viral, he became an internet sensation. He sang Bachpan ka Pyaar in school uniform in the video, which was purportedly shot in a classroom by his teacher in 2019.
He also appeared in a new version of the song with rapper Badshah, which was released in August with a video.
Badshah said that he is on his way to the hospital to meet Sahdev Dirdo in a recent Twitter tweet on Tuesday night.
In his post after Sahdev Dirdo’s accident, Badshah said, “In touch with Sahdev’s family and friends. He is unconscious, on his way to the hospital. I’m there for him. Need your prayers.”
