The Akshay Kumar starrer film Baby is on a constant rise in terms of box office collection. Having positive reviews from almost all the critics, the audience too was seen applauding the movie for its rich and unique content along with the incredible performance of Akshay Kumar. Hence as expected the movie was able to collect a decent amount at the end of the first week. The extended weekend due to Republic Day simply helped the film giving a good collection for the film.
During the weekdays, the movie was able to get 50 percent occupancy, which is again a decent one. As per reports, the first week box office collection for baby tolled to around 63 crores. The collection for baby would certainly surpass Neeraj Pandey’s earlier movie Special 26 along with the last release of Akshay Kumar- Entertainer.  Even the other film released the same day – Dolly Ki Doli failed to do any magic over the box office leaving no signs of relief to the audience.
