Babloo Bachelor Story:

The story of the film revolves around a wealthy Thakur-Zamindar family from Uttar Pradesh (UP) want a lavish wedding for their son Babloo (Sharman Joshi), who is still single at the age of 35. The plot revolves around whether his search for the perfect match will cause him to lose his ‘bachelor’ status or teach him to love and accept himself.

Babloo Bachelor Review:

The film’s opening sequence, which has matchmaking advertising playing on the radio while Babloo drives home, sets the tone for the rest of the movie. He meets a lot of girls in his search for the perfect match, but nothing works until he meets Avantika (Pooja Chopra). He falls in love with her quickly, and they appear to get along well. But, when the wedding preparations get underway, she asks him to decline to marry her. Despite his grief, he keeps his family in the dark and continues about his business as usual.

Later, he meets Swati (Tejashri Pradhan) at his cousin’s wedding, and the two form such a strong bond that their families decide to marry them. She ditches him while he’s sleeping on their honeymoon, opting for a showbiz career in Mumbai because she won’t have another huge opportunity if she rejects the show offer. After great difficulty, Babloo agrees to his father’s plan of returning to Mumbai with their bahu Swati. He meets Avantika, who bails him out when his initial effort to contact Swati puts him in the police station. She assists him in meeting Swati while working as a senior journalist for an entertainment channel.

Babloo Bachelor Cast Performances:

Sharman Joshi is an amazing performer with his versatility. We’ve seen him make us laugh out loud several times with his on-screen presence, and we’re never bored. In this film, he gives a strong portrayal as a 35-year-old bachelor who has been hunting for the right companion for the past seven years. His expressions, dialogues and body language are on point throughout the film. He definitely is the perfect cast for the character he plays in Babloo Bachelor. Avantika is essayed by Pooja Chopra where she can be seen as an journalist and the former Miss India has portrayed the character so well, that even her looks were making a fabulous statement. Swati is played amazingly by Tejashri Pradhan. The supporting cast includes Rajesh Sharma as Babloo’s father, Manoj Joshi as his uncle, and Akash Dhabade and Sumit Gulati as his pals and everything with these casting seems in place.

Direction & Cinematography:

Babloo Bachelor is an intriguing notion about a UP man searching for a life spouse and the ladies he meets along the way. Saurabh Pandey’s screenplay makes the watch much smoother, the best part about it is that it doesn’t drag and stays on to the point. There are some scenes that are going to stay with you as it made me go LOL, one of them is where the father and son smoking and getting emotional about the latter’s marriage problems, another on that cracked me up was when Swati refuses to acknowledge Babloo during their first meeting in Mumbai, and Avantika’s inability to express her love for Babloo until her boss tells her to either get him or forget him. These little details of the film makes it worth your time.

Music:

The soundtrack of the film is composed by Jeet Ganguli. But what gave soul to the composition was Arijit Singh and Papon’s voice.

Babloo Bachelor Verdict:

Babloo Bachelor comes with a strong script and execution that will keep you hooked throughout. Sharman Joshi is the most compelling reason to watch the film.
