Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s Udta Teer Sets October 9, 2026 Theatrical Release
Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan are reuniting for the upcoming comedy entertainer Udta Teer, which is set to hit theaters on October 9, 2026. The film is produced by Dharma Productions in partnership with Sikhya Entertainment.
The project marks the second feature film collaboration between Khurrana and Khan following Pati Patni Aur Woh Do. Billed as a high-energy, humor-driven family entertainer, Udta Teer centers on chaotic comic situations. Writer Akash A. Kaushik makes his directorial debut with the project, having both written and directed the film.
The production is backed by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor, and Achin Jain. Further plot details and additional casting announcements are expected closer to the release date. The October 9 release places Udta Teer in cinemas one week after Ajay Devgn’s highly anticipated Drishyam 3, scheduled for October 2, 2026. While Udta Teer currently holds a clear opening weekend without direct competition, the box office performance and holdover presence of Drishyam 3 could influence its initial screen count.
