As the makers released the first look poster of the biopic film Shakuntala Devi starring Vidya Balan, we now hear about Avinash Tiwary being roped in as the lead actor who would play the role of Vidya’ son in law in the film. The first look released lately by the makers seems to have created a good buzz in the media. The next thing the makers did was to find out the man to play the role of Ajay Abhay Kumar for their film for which they have confirmed Avinash Tiwari.
However, he was not their first choice, the makers were in talks with Amit Sadh for the said role, however, it did not materialize and now we see the Laila Majnu actor has been roped in for the same. As per the sources close to the makers, he has a major role in the film. He is yet to sign the dotted lines as he is currently busy shooting for his next film The Girl On The Train in London with Parineeti Chopra. Besides, this film, Avinash is also part of Karan Johar’s next venture.
He is in the star cast of the web series called Ghost Stories by Karan Johar which is to hit the streaming media called Netflix soon. He has paired with Mrunal Thakur the Super 30 fame director. The actor is playing with Parineeti Chopra and it happens to be the remake of the film The Girl On the Train by Emily Blunt. Talking about the biopic now, it is the story of Shakuntala Devi, who seems to have earned space in Guinness World Book of Records for being the human-computer. The other actor Jisshu Sengupta would play the husband called Paritosh Banerji of Vidya in the film.
