Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha Trailer Review: Ajay Devgn & Tabu’s ‘Aadha Ishq’ Captures the Essence of Timeless Romance, Echoing Veer-Zaara’s Magic!
Finally, our prayers have been answered as Bollywood prepares to deliver a mature love story, with Ajay Devgn and Tabu sharing the screen in Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha. While Hindi Cinema has touched upon elements of mature love in films like Baghban, Life In A Metro, and Honeymoon Travels, there has never been a full-fledged mature love story since Cheeni Kum, which had a comedic twist.In Neeraj Pandey’s film, the Drishyam duo reunites after a long time to portray a heartwarming and intriguing tale of love, separation, and everything that unfolds in between. Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar play the younger versions of the main characters, adding depth to the narrative.
The movie hints at a lost love story of a couple torn apart by circumstances. One of them ends up in jail and chooses not to leave, assuming the worst – that their love has been lost to someone else.The trailer offers a glimpse into the rollercoaster of emotions that the film promises – from violence and action to heartbreak, longing, and romance. The songs and dialogues perfectly capture the essence of the story. This time, it seems that Jimmy Shergill may not play the third wheel and could potentially win the heroine’s heart, as the final embrace between Ajay Devgn and Tabu appears to be a dreamy sequence imagined by one of them.
The trailer hints at the possibility of another Veer Zara-like love story unfolding, making us root for Ajay Devgn and Tabu as the official on-screen couple. However, the only drawback is that the trailer reveals too much, leaving little to the imagination. Director Neeraj Pandey has not made an effort to conceal the storyline in the trailer.Yet, there is a hidden twist that may not be immediately apparent to the naked eye, challenging our belief in this Veer Zara 2.0 kind of story. The true mystery lies in what happened on the night when these soulmates were separated. I am personally intrigued and excited to see Ajay Devgn and Tabu bring their organic chemistry to the screen and bring this story to life. The film will release in theaters on July 5.
