Here comes the newly released teaser of Atif Aslam new song called Pehli Dafa. The song has a beautiful cinematography which features Ileana D’Cruz and Atif Aslam. The teaser though is of eighteen seconds but can make the audience restless keeping you intrigued for the whole video which is all set to release on January 6, 2017.Well one may get a bit of surprise when this teaser has the ban imposed Pakistani star Atif Aslam in it, which was imposed after the Uri attacks. Following the attacks, many self proclaimed nationalists groups like MNS issued an open threat to Karan Johar and an informal diktat to Bollywood filmmakers.
Last year, Pakistani stars were banned from Indian films and Karan Johar even was forced to re-shoot scenes in hi film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that featured Fawad Khan. Not just that, they went on to threaten the release of the said film and others like Dear Zindagi and Raees, all of which featured Pakistani talent. Later Karan Johar had to release a public apology and had to succumb to their terms and conditions to get his film a smooth release. This resulted to the brutally chopping Fawad Khan’s role in ADHM too.
The Pakistani artistes issue resurfaced again with Mahira Khan’s presence in Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees. Shah Rukh Khan had to give in to the demands of MNS and had to assure that she won’t be promoting the film. Now with this move one may wonder what these self proclaimed nationalists are going to do considering Atif Aslam is one of the most famous artistes of Pakistan in India. Or they are just going to ignore his presence as it’s just a song and won’t get them as much publicity as a film of Shah Rukh Khan would. It’s all about publicity right? Only time will tell the truth, let’s wait and watch!
