Asur 2 trailer: Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti are back to hunt down a monster
Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti are yet again back to hunt down the monster in Asur 2. After ending the first season on a cliffhanger, the second season is all set to stream on JioCinema from 1 June and makers have now dropped the trailer of the new season and it picks up the things where it was left in at the end of the first season,
Makers dropped the latest trailer with a special caption that reads, “Mahayudh nikat hai. Kalyug ko uske charam seema tak pahunchane ka samay aa gaya hai. Asur aa gaya hai. India’s biggest mythological thriller is back. #Asur2 trailer out now! #Asur2OnJioCinema streaming free, 1 June onwards. (sic).”
The trailer opens with a voice over of a child saying that he aspires to become a daitya, danav, asur (monster). Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti and their CBI team have begun their hunt for this Asur who is aspired to free this world from this bandon of morality and make this ‘kaliyug’ reach its final culmination.

And as Barun Sobti, Arshad Warsi, Ridhi Dogra go deeper in his crime they discover that he is someone who is always ahead of them and outsmart them by weaponizing the technology to harm humans and destroy the world.
The trailer makes it pretty clear that the second season has opted for more dark themes and will put even more morally complex questions about morality and the blurry line between good and evil.
The second season will also see Anupria Goenka, Amey Wagh, Meiyang Chang, Gaurav Arora and Vishesh Bansal reprising their roles. Directed by Oni Sen, the highly anticipated season 2 will be streaming on JioCinema from 1 June, 2023.
