Assets of Bhooth Bangla, Raja Shivaji, and Cocktail 2 Attached to Dhurandhar: The Revenge Screenings
Advance bookings for Dhurandhar: The Revenge are soaring, even with the release still 12 days away. Fans heading to watch the film will also get a sneak peek at promos of three upcoming movies.As reported by Pinkvilla, the trailer for Bhooth Bangla—a horror-comedy starring Akshay Kumar, Tabu, and Wamiqa Gabbi—is attached to the prints of Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Marking the reunion of Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan, Bhooth Bangla is produced by Ekta Kapoor.
Its recently released song “Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge” has garnered a strong response since its February 26 debut. In addition to Bhooth Bangla, two more promos will be screened alongside Dhurandhar: The Revenge: Raja Shivaji and Cocktail 2.Raja Shivaji is a historical drama directed by Riteish Deshmukh, who also stars as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film features a star-studded cast including Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Vidya Balan, Genelia Deshmukh, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Amole Gupte, with Salman Khan making a cameo appearance. It is slated for a May 1 release, celebrating Maharashtra Day.
Talking about the film – Cocktail 2, produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, is the sequel to the 2012 hit Cocktail. While the original starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and launched Diana Penty, the sequel features Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna, with both films directed by Homi Adajania. It remains to be seen if the 1 minute 51 seconds promo censored in October 2025 will be attached to Dhurandhar: The Revenge or if a different asset will be chosen.
Returning to Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the film is a sequel to the 2025 blockbuster Dhurandhar, the highest-grossing Hindi film to date. The cast includes Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. The first chapter followed an Indian spy’s daring infiltration of Pakistan’s criminal and political networks.
Produced by Jyoti Deshpande (Jio Studios) and Aditya & Lokesh Dhar (B62 Studios), the film is directed and written by Aditya Dhar. Bollywood Hungama first reported that Dhurandhar: The Revenge will hold paid previews starting 5:00 pm on March 18, ahead of its full theatrical release on March 19.
