Article 15 Actress Sayani Gupta in a British Medical Drama ‘The Good Karma Hospital’
In the recent buzz in the TV world, the B Town actress Sayani Gupta is back in the news as she is roped in for an ITV Series called The Good Karma Hospital a British Medical Drama. She plays the nurse in it who is targetted with the acid attack. The TV show is based was made in 2018, while a few sequences remained pending to shoot which included Sayani’s character after the attack.
This attack then led around 17 restorative stages of surgery and medical procedure for the lady, which she would be showcasing on the said TV series. She has worked hard to showcase the character well on the small screen. After the TV show revolves more about her grueling personal journey and transition post the acid attack. While talking about the same, Sayani was seen saying that she got the cast only after undergoing a few auditions by the makers – Sahar Latif the director of the show.
She called her role to be the most gratifying and heartbreaking one in her career and she applauded the team for which she worked for the same. While she also narrated her experience of working with the team. She called the show as her learning experience as she got to know much about the acting world. The scenes she did with the star cast like Amanda Redman and Nimmi Harasgama were incredible. She applauded the cinematographer Graham Frame whom she worked with as he called as the most senior and respected one from Britain.
