Rang Rasiya has hit the theatres this Friday after a long tussle with Censor Board. The movie has already impressed while screened way back in 2008 when it was made in one of the International Film Festival at London. The main leads of Rang Rasiya include Randeep Hooda and Nandana Sen. If you look at the reviews and rating from the critics, Rang Rasiya seems to be scoring better points then The Shaukeens. However, at the box office, the story seems to be slightly different, which makes the movie lagging behind The Shaukeens.
As per reports, the movie has the occupancy of around 20 to 30 percent, which is less than the other release. At the end of the day, the Rang Rasiya, which has hit more than thousand screens in India has a low score at box office. The total figure went to around 3.75 crore, which is closer to 4 crores, but at the weekend comes out, the collection could rise. According to the trade pundits, may be the epic drama has a niche audience, which would turn up later to give a decent collection at the box office, but current its The Shaukeens, which is stealing the show.
