Arjun Kapoor gets mercilessly trolled for his comments on the boycott trend, netizens say, “Iski Movie Toh Vaise Bhi Flop Hoti Hai”
Bollywood Actor Arjun Kapoor recently spoke about trending social media protests and a group of users calling for a boycott of Hindi movies. Now, the actor is being trolled mercilessly for his rude remark toward people. We all need to think before we speak and now what Arjun said has landed him in trouble.
Every new film that comes these days falls prey to boycott trends due to some or the other reason. #BoycottRakshaBandhan and #BoycottLaalSinghChaddha trended for many days before the release of these movies and we can see they both ended up. The latest target of this trend is Shah Rukh’s Pathaan and Hrithik’s Vikram Vedha.
Amid all this, Arjun Kapoor placed his opinion about the increasing boycott of Bollywood movies. During an interview with a news portal, the actor said, “We did a mistake by staying silent and bearing all this. That was our decency and people begin taking advantage of it. We thought that our work will speak for ourselves. हमने तो काफी कीचड झेल लिया है पिछले कुछ सालों में क्यूंकि we turned a blind eye on all this.”
This harsh comment from Arjun didn’t go well with the netizens and they started trolling him mercilessly. A netizen said, “Ab Arjun ki Movies ko koi Kaise boycott Kare, Pehle Se Hi Flop Hoti Hain Iski Movies.” Another user called him frustrated as nobody pays attention to his flop movies. “Arjun Kapoor is free to speak his mind as none watches his films”, a third user tweeted. Netizens even accused him of trying to get attention.
Let’s have a look at some tweets attached below:

Arjun Kapoor can speak his mind because nobody watches his films anyways .
Maybe if someone had made a boycott call, people would have realised even he too had a movie release.
As they say any publicity is good publicity.— Anoop (@AnoopChathoth) August 17, 2022

Meanwhile, the future of Bollywood is in danger due to major losses, and every new film faces boycott issues. Almost every flopped this year at the box office except a bunch of releases that include The Kashmir Files, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Bhool Bhoolaiya 2.
Ayan Mukherji’s ‘Brahmastra’ is inching towards its release and let us see what happens to this Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer.
