Naga Chaitanya is an honest cop who puts his life on the line to stand with the truth in his upcoming action thriller Custody. Helmed by Venkat Prabhu, Custody is one of the most highly anticipated thrillers of 2023 and makers have finally dropped the film’s trailer and it promises a nail-biting action thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat from the first scene till the climax.
The trailer for the film begins with Naga Chaitanya’s honest cop Shiva being chastised by a senior police officer for halting the CM’s automobile. We quickly realize that he is someone who will always uphold the law and the regulations. His personal life is also in turmoil, as his lover (Krithi Shetty) is forced by her family to marry someone else. When Shiva chooses to take her away from her family he is unexpectedly charged with delivering a vicious criminal and murderer to a court from the jail. Arvind Swamy portrays that criminal.
It seems few people are sent to kill this criminal who is being transported to the court, and now Shiva takes it upon himself to save the criminal’s life and Shiva is ready to put his life on the line to surrender him to the court. Along with some intense drama the trailer also features multiple action set pieces and from those short clips it looks like we will get to see some neatly choreographed action scenes including some hand-to-hand combats.

Custody also stars Sarathkumar, Priyamani, Premji, Samapthat Raj, Vennela Kishore, and Premi Vishwanath in pivotal roles. Produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi, Custody is shot simultaneously in both Tamil and Telugu. Custody’s music has been composed by father-son duo Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film will hit the theatres on 12 May.
