Sahil Vaid is an actor and hails from Salem, Tamil Nadu. He was born on 24 September 1986 in Salem and also works as a voice actor apart from being an actor. He did his schooling from Summermal Jain Public School, Delhi, while completed his college from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar and later completed his PG from Institute of Management Studies followed by Whistling Woods International School of Media and Communication doing his graduation in Media studies since he was inclined towards creative field.
He then started working in theatre groups doing several plays starting early in 1997 and did for 17 years. He did many plays and stage shows, while got his debut in Bollywood with the film Bittoo Boss in 2012. He is also known for showcasing variety of roles in several stand up comedy shows as well. He then appeared in the B Town films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania playing the role of Poplu that got lots of appreciation. he was later seen in the film Bank Chor with Ritiesh Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi.
Some of his recent films include Satyamev Jayate and Hippi and his upcoming film in Coolie No 1 with Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan. He has also worked as a dubbing artist with films like Ant Man, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Endgame, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, The Hangover, The Hangover Part II, The Hangover Part III to name a few. The others include The Martian Sebastian Stan, Life of Pi, Final Destination 5, Beauty and the Beast, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, The Social Network, and Tyler Winklevoss to name a few. He also did the same for some animated shows The Lego Movie Will Ferrell, The Angry Birds Movie and Movie 2.
