Himmanshoo A. Malhotra is a TV and film actor from India. He hails from Mumbai and was born and brought up in New Delhi on April 2, 1982. He did his schooling from New Delhi and later went on to do his management studies and have completed his MBA but he then ventured into acting considering his interest to act and plays. Rather joining his father’s family business he opted for acting.
Besides movies and TV, he also likes cricket but never played professionally though feels that had gone towards the said sports had he been an actor. His journey into the glamour world started when he was chosen to participate in the Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj a reality TV show at Zee TV in 2004. This was like a breaking the ice for the man who wanted to pursue his dreams into acting.
He then did a couple of TV shows but started with the movie called Mr. Khujli in 2006 playing the character of Raj in it. Soon he got his first TV show in 2007 called Ssshhhh…Koi Hai, Champs, Shubh Kadam, Aapki Antara, Seven and Bhagonwali-Baante Apni Taqdeer to name a few, while his recent works include Encounter, Airlines, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Darr Sabko Lagta Hai and Gangster Ki Girlfriend. He also participated in reality TV shows including Box Cricket League Season 2, Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and Nach Baliye 7. His second movie in B Town is Wajah Tum Ho, which is an erotic drama movie in the supporting role. Talking about his personal life, he is married to Amruta Khanvilkar.
