Directed by Vinay Waikul, who had recently helmed the crime-thriller Netflix series Aranyak, The Broken News will also star Shriya Pilgaonkar. Well, to the unversed, the project is an adaptation of the popular 2018 British series Press.

Meanwhile, recently Sonali Bendre is judging a reality show Dance India Dance Lil Masters along with Remo D’Souza and Mouni Roy. To the unversed, the actress had taken a rest from acting to receive cancer treatment in the United States, for those who were unaware. She is currently back on the sets. Sonali had previously described her filmmaker-husband Goldie Behl’s response when she decided to return to work in an interview with Pinkvilla. Sonali says, “He has been asking me to do this much earlier. He is like, ‘you are fine, your brain is so sharp, just get back’. He has been telling me, ‘you should get back to work’ because knowing me he said, ‘at that point in time, so many years back in the 90s, you used to work the way they work today. So you would really enjoy the process of working in today’s day and age’. So yes, he has been telling me to come back and work for the longest time now,”
