Kartik Aaryan comes on board for Hansal Mehta’s next, to play an air force pilot
Kartik Aaryan has been all around the news a few weeks back for all the wrong reasons. However, according to the latest reports, Kartik has joined filmmaker Hansal Mehta for his next project. The film will be made under the banner of Sajid Nadiadwala.
As per the reports, the film is a commercial drama. Talking about the film a source told Bollywood Hungama, “It’s a commercial film that will have a Hansal touch. The film has been put together by Harman Baweja and has a nationalistic angle to it. The movie is based on a real-life story. Kartik will play the role of an IAF officer. He will be the main pilot in the rescue operation.”
Interestingly, Janhvi Kapoor who was rumoured to be in a relationship with Kartik has played an Air force officer in her previous film Gunjan Saxena. Kangana Ranaut is also set to play an air force pilot in Tejas, which is backed by RSVP, the same production house that has bankrolled Kartik’s film as well.
Previously, Kartik was in the news for unceremoniously dropped from Dostana 2 and Karan Johar’s Dharma Production. Meanwhile, today Kartik completes 10 years in the industry, he started his career with 2001 released Pyaar Ka Punchnama.
