Anupamaa: Makers to bring another twist in the show after Vanraj’s character received huge heat on social media
Star Plus’ serial Anupamaa is one of the most top-rated shows on television. The show is going to get more and more interesting in the coming weeks. The new entry Anuj Kapadia (Gaurav Khanna) and Anupamaa’s (Rupali Ganguly) grow close.
However, Sudhanshu Pandey’s character of Vanraj, Anupamaa’s ex-husband is receiving all the hate online. This has been bothering the makers.
Before Anupamaa and Vanraj’s divorce, many people were praying and hoping that they will sort out their differences and Vanraj chooses Anupamaa instead of Kavya. However, the makers created a different angle with Apurva Agnihotri in the show, but it didn’t quite work out.
Fans are showering all the love for the new Jodi of Anupamaa and Anuj Kapadia. They don’t even want anyone to come in between them. Vanraj is on the top list of haters. Fans are heated to the fact that even after his divorce from Anupamaa and marriage to Kavya, why does he keep taunting Anu, setting rules for her and always trying to put her down.
Vanraj can be seen constantly interfering in Anupamaa’s life and behaves like she is still his wife. Fans are certainly not okay with his behaviour. Netizens are constantly trolling Vanraj’s character on social media. While the producers anticipated that there would be negativity surrounding these few characters, given the new change in Anu’s life, they did not anticipate that Vanraj would be singled out so heavily. He’s an important part of the show, and the creators have chosen to do something about the fans’ hatred and resentment for Sudhanshu Pandey’s character.
Bollywoodlife quoted a source as saying, “Fans love Anupamaa and after what Vanraj has done to her, they will surely never love him, like they love Anuj’s character. However, in the coming episodes, audiences will get to see a new side of Vanraj”.
Further, the source said, “Vanraj will accept, admit and open up about his feelings for Anupamaa. While he has always maintained that he never loved her, he will himself realise his true feelings for her. This will also make his tone down a little in his attitude and arrogance towards his ex-wife.”
