The recently introduced anti smoking drug is sees becoming popular in the smokers circle to get rid of this habit. However, as rumoured before, it will not increase the risk of having deadly diseases like heart attacks and depression. As per the recent study, the doctors are now recommending the same including Varenicline, which is the most effective medicine to quit smoking. Earlier a rumour was spread about the same that it can bring in the risk of depression and heart attacks, which was nullified by a group of researchers based in the UK.
The research was seen conducted in the UK wherein more than 150,000 smokers were crosschecked in this study, which indicated the result. Now, you do not have to worry about the issues of depression or heart problems while consuming this newly introduced medicine confirmed by the known researcher Daniel Kotz, from the Medical Faculty of the Heinrich-Heine-University Dusseldorf, Germany. Also, as per Aziz Sheikh, the Co-Director of the University of Edinburgh based institute called Centre for Medical Informatics said the same. This research report was published in the popular Journal called The Magazine of Lancet Respiratory Medicine.
