The year 2018 has proved better for the audiences in getting a number of films from overseas industries including Hollywood of course. It has received not less than three movies from Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) that has always taken the box office by storm. So, unlike the previous ones, this Friday released movie called Ant-Man And The Wasp has hit with the same vigor and spirit. The film has bagged 76 million when it released in North America in not less than 4206 screens. Now, talking about the film’s performance over box office in India, it has ranked high unlike the previous films as well. In other words the film has bagged a good opening in India.
The film Ant-Man And The Wasp happens to be the second installment of a successful American franchise called the Ant-Man and it was released amidst a good buzz in the Indian market that helped the film to gain big over the box office on the first day. The Indian fans of Hollywood movies gave a decent collection on day 1 getting the positive feedback from the audience. The film managed to get some good response over the metro cities. On the first day the business was decent and the 1st day box office collection for the Ant-Man And The Wasp reached to around 6.95 crore with screens of not less than 1300 in the media.
The marketing man of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige expressed his happiness to see the first day figure and he along with others are positive about the boost in the collection. The film has the potential of collecting of around 100 crore in its life long collection. Though the film Ant-Man and the Wasp was seen facing some amount of competition from a sports biopic called Soorma that was released at 1,100 in India alone. Yet it managed to beat the film in someway or the other also, the film managed to beat the  Dwayne Johnson’s Skyscraper. So what do you think about the same, do let us know by commenting on the same.
