The film Raees has given Mahira Khan her debut in Bollywood. The Pak based actress who has gained good popularity with her TV show called Humsafar opposite Fawad Khan got a good reception with this film in B Town. Though her presence created some controversies in Mumbai and other places it has been a decent grosser last year. But if you check the latest buzz for the film Raees, it is reported to be pirated the most in the year 2017. As per reports, the Germany piracy tracker has shared their investigation claiming that more than 6 million users all across the world have shared this film in peer to peer networks.

When Rahul Dholakia the film’s director heard this, he got a sad response to this. He said that he wanted the people to watch the movie but not this way. He further said since the pirated prints are now getting the HD quality prints, it is indeed frustrating and disheartening to see the business of piracy increasing with the passing time. He then added that lots of efforts and money are put to make films along with promoting it, and with piracy going to its peak, the return on investment goes down. He said that his movie was uploaded to the web once his film was released. He said that he kept on getting calls from the US stating about the same and that they have found 175 sites having the film.

As per another report, India accounts for 60 percent of the complete file sharers of these pirated movies online, whereas neighboring Pakistan accounts for not less than 16 percent. In the increasing list of the piracy films, the SRK and Mahira Khan starrer movie Raees seems to have gone on the top, which was followed by the Hrithik Roshan starrer movie Kaabil that was released on the same day. According to the German piracy tracker, more than five million have already watched the film Kaabil online. And the reason why the B Town movies are pirated the most due to the lack of unity among the film makers claims the reports.
