Anil Kapoor Hints the Sequel for Mubarakan

Its been two years since the Arjun and Anil Kapoor starrer film ‘Mubarakan’ hit the screens. The film also had Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty in the lead roles. Anees Bazme has directed the film, while Murad Khetani was the producer of the film. Coincidentally the makers and Anil Kapoor met and had a gala time together. They also made a video about their party in the social media where we saw Anil Kapoor sharing something about the sequel.

He said that the makers have planned to embark upon the sequel, which would be either released this Christmas or in 2020. Yes, you heard it right the comedy film would now have a sequel. All thanks to the good response the film has got on the box office. The film went close to 100 Crore that made the makers think about making a sequel out it. Anil Kapoor also shared his wishes to the team greeting them for the success of the film released two years before.

He has sent out the happy and greeting message to the crazy star cast of the film including Arjun Kapoor, Athiya Shetty, and Ileana DCruze, along with the director Anees Bazmee, and Murad Khetani. He captioned the video saying Thank you all for your love. Arjun Kapoor has a dual role in the film who plays twin nephews of Anil Kapoor. If things go smooth, the makers intend to embark with the sequel this year. However, Arjun Kapoor is busy with his periodical drama called Panipat with Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt. While Anil is busy with Takht with ALia Bhatt and others besides being seen in Malang with Disha and Aditya Roy Kapur.
