The film is all about a father and daughter duo story played by Irrfan and Radhika playing roles like Champak and Taru respectively. Taru has been an average student but with her efforts gets the scholarship for a university in London. However, Champak is in two minds whether to send his daughter or not. On the other side, when he decides to send her, he is seen struggling to arrange the money, which seems to have portrayed with loads of humor and fine-drawn drama. So, what goes next is interesting to explore in your nearby cinema.
The writers have given a decent story to make a nice film. The makers on the other side have maintained the same format of adding humor along with giving emotions as well. With a good script and strong cast, the films end up to have an entertaining story. The film remains a good comedy movie, and it has humor even in the scenes where it is not required. The first half goes well, however, the second one remains hampered as one can see drama overtaking the comedy element. Now, talking about the Star Performances, Irrfan Khan has simply nailed it, check out his emotional sequences played brilliantly by the actor. He has used his power of making people laugh and keep making your eyes moist.
On the other side, Radhika Madan was seen enjoying the boomerang performance with Khan. She was able to grab the running scene perfectly with the inputs she has taken so well taking it to the next level. The girl can be seen acting brilliantly and has a long exciting way to go. She remains cutest in her journey in B Town. The others like Deepak Dobriyal and Karena Kapoor also went perfect in their roles. The former went cool with his comical role, while the latter seemed serious and the best in her cop character. And don’t miss Pankaj Tripathi, he could give you the loudest of laughs
Talking about Direction, Homi Adajania has done an incredible role in making the emotions and comedy work for the film. He has kept the audience glued to the chair giving the best high-voltage drama sequences with loads of humor. Talking about the music, Sachin & Jigar embarked on their ambient sounds and songs. Talking about the other elements like screenplay, editing, photography and other elements, all went well thus boosting up the entertainment value of the film in a big way.
Angrezi Medium The Last Word
With all said and done, Angrezi Medium is a loving film with a strong message amidst a cool comedy. The star cast remained intact with the story giving the best performance. It is a worthy movie to catch with your family this weekend.
