After a massive hit of Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer Dream Girl, the sequel of the movie was a thing to happen. The lead actor grabbed all the attention of the film. Dream girl was a commercial success at the box office. As per the reports, the sequel of the movie was to happen this year. The makers of the movie didn’t reveal anything about the main actress. But now the news is different, as per reports Ananya Panday has been considered as the leading lady of the movie.
While there talking that Naagin 6 actor Tejasswi Prakash was all set to make her debut beside Ayushmann Khurrana in the Dream Girl sequel a 2019 movie. Sara Ali Khan was also the name that popped up for the sequel earlier. The makers were looking for a young face and they wanted a new actress to be considered to play in the sequel with Ayushmann.
A source from the production has revealed, “The makers were in talks with Ananya Panday for Dream Girl 2. And as per our sources, makers of the film have zeroed down Ananya Panday opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.” When tried to ask Ananya’s team they didn’t comment anything.
Ananya Panday made her debut with Student of the year 2 in Bollywood. And was last seen in Shakun Batra’s Gehraiyaan. The actress will be seen along with the star actor Vijay Deverakonda in Puri Jagannadh’s Liger. The movie will release on August 25, 2022. The movie is based on a sports drama produced by Dharma Productions and Puri Connects.
