Anaita Shroff Adajania is a known fashion stylist and costume designer who was born and brought up in Mumbai. She did her schooling and college from Mumbai itself completing her media studies from Mumbai University from St. Xaviers College. She started her career working as an assistant fashion edition at the famous Elle Magazine since it was launched in 1996 and subsequently, she then landed at L’Officiel India and soon embarked at the chair of fashion director at Vogue India. She also owned Style Cell Company wherein she carried out the design work for a number of B Town films.
Some of the movies include Dhoom 2, Being Cyrus, Love AajKal, Cocktail and Everybody Says I’m Fine to name a few. She did the styling thing for all the three movies of Dhoom franchise thus worked with John Abraham, EshaDeol, AishwaryaRai, Hrithik Roshan and Bipasha Basu and then in 2013 she worked with Katrina Kaif in Dhoom 3. She worked with different feature magazines including Elle, Rolling Stone, Vogue and L’Officiel. She is also known to have done styling for Deepika Padukone for all the events.
Besides, she also acted in the walk on roles for the films including Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge in 1985 wherein she played Sheena Kajol’s friend from London the same girl whom SRK is seen flirting with during the trip of Europe. She was also seen playing the role of Gita a friend of Saif Ali Khan. As far as her personal life is concerned, she is married to the film director and screenwriter called Homi Adajania in 2002 who directed Being Cyrus and Cocktail. The couple is blessed with sons – Zreh and Zane. She has been applauded for the Best Costume Design award at IIFA for the films Dhoom 2 and Love AajKal apart from the other awards.
