Amrita Prakash is an actress and model who hails from Jaipur and was born on 12th May 1987. She did her schooling and junior college in Jaipur. She has done her MBA from the University of Mumbai. She started her career in advertising and later worked in TVC for footwear in Kerala. She has done commercials for many brands including Rasna, Glucon-D, Ruffles Lays, and Dabur to name a few. She has remained part of Lifebuoy Soaps and worked for brands like commercials for Sunsilk, and Gifts Processed Foods.

She started working at the age of nine years and has played the niece of Gautami Gadgil. She worked in a Cartoon show at Star Plus for five years and her role as Miss India made her popular. However, with her film Tum Bin in the role of Mili made her a known face in B Town. Some of her popular films include Maine Dil Tujhko Diya, Koi Mere Dil Mein Hai, Manjupoloru Penkutti, Vivah, Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi, We Are Family and a Jaane Kabse to name a few.

She has also worked in a couple of TV shows including Fox Kids, Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat, Kohi Apna Sa, Smriti, Tum Bin Jaaoon Kahaan, A Walk In Your Shoes, Kya Masti Kya Dhoom, Ye Meri Life Hai, Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar, C.A.T.S. Kashmeer, Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai, and Jhoome Naache Gayein in her early days. Some of her recent TV shows include Halla Bol Season 2, Akbar Birbal, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Men will be Men, Savdhaan India, Mahakali, and Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki to name a few.
