Today, on 6th February 2022, India’s legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar passes away at the age of 92. The veteran singer took her last breath at Mumbai’s breach candy hospital at 8:00 AM. As soon as the news broke, the nation couldn’t control its emotions as they mourn for India’s Nightingale Lata Mangeshkar.
Just a few hours ago, Lata Ji’s mortal has reached her apartment in Mahalaxmi. Just after that many celebrities from the Indian cinema and many politician leaders were spotted at her apartment to see the legendary for the last time.
Recently, Shraddha Kapoor was papped t the singer’s home to pay her tribute. Well, Shraddha Kapoor has a special blood connection with the singer as her maternal grandfather, singer Pandit Pandharinath Kolhapure, was Lata Mangeshkar’s cousin. Apart from Shraddha, Amitabh Bachchan along with his daughter Shweta Bachchan, Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, actor Anupam Kher, and many other celebrities has arrived at her residence.

Lata Mangeshkar’s last ritual will take place today at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park by 6:00 PM. India Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Mumbai for the last rites. According to reports, a two-day national mourning period will be observed in honor of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar. As a gesture of respect, the national flag will be flown at half-mast for two days. A state funeral will be accorded to the late Bharat Ratna recipient.
