Amitabh Bachchan pens a heartfelt thank you note for all the wishes on his birthday!
On October 11, megastar Amitabh Bachchan turned 80 years old. Across the nation, people celebrated the actor’s special day. Fans sent him well wishes on social media on Tuesday, including those from celebrities and colleagues in the film industry. Later, he posted a thank-you message on social media.
Taking to his official Tumblr Blog, Amitabh Bachchan began his note by writing, “Birthday greetings .. and the prayers for happiness ever .. thank you for sharing this day with me .. and for being with me all these years .. am humbled and overwhelmed by all the love and affection .. love you all , my Extended Family …,” and added heart emojis.
He added, “And another 365 .. and another begins .. as do many other begin .. beginnings are required .. they provide ends .. and ends need love and grace and care to be accomplished ..”

With his family, Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his birthday. The actor was observed socialising with Abhishek Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda, and Shweta Bachchan Nanda. The very next evening, Amitabh Bachchan emerged from his Jalsa home to greet the crowds of adoring followers who had gathered to see the megastar. According to prior reports, the actor chose to hold a modest birthday celebration in light of the passing of his buddy and politician Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Amitabh Bachchan most recently appeared in the movie Brahmastra alongside Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. The actor’s resume is diverse. He will next appear in Sooraj Barjatya’s Unnchai alongside numerous prominent actors, including Boman Irani and Anupam Kher. Additionally, he has contracts for The Intern remake with Deepika Padukone and Nag Ashwin’s upcoming film starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, which is being shot in Hyderabad.
